Yes, I am one of those people who stand and preach the WORD of YAH in the bus. Popularly known as the “noisemakers” in the Putco bus community. I target those who call themselves Christians yet don’t read the bible. They claim to read the bible but actually dismiss a whole bunch of things that the bible clearly speaks of.
My overall message is for people to read the bible
themselves so that they can know how to worship YAH.
Fear used to grip me whenever the thought of standing and
preaching came. I won’t lie, there were many times where I chickened out
because of fear. At times it was because I had heard and knew some of the
things the people sitting down would say about bus preachers. These things
repeated themselves in my head.
Most of the messages that I preach are offensive and
rather direct. So after each message I get emotional due to the responses I
get. “Uborekile sisi” (you are bored sister), “bazosibora” (they going to bore
us), people getting louder as I start singing or when I’m talking, these are some
of the things that I’ve witnesses in this journey. This one time, this elderly
woman was speaking over me saying “In the morning it’s you guys, now in the
afternoon again. Sit down!”
Despite the negative responses, I have seen a few people nodding
in agreement.
In all that I’ve witnessed so far, I praise The Most
High, because it is HE that has fed me this message and has allowed me to share
it with Israel. It is the words that are spoken in Ezekiel 2 and 3 that
encourage me and that I walk with each time I’m given the opportunity to speak.
About Israel, the word of YAH says:
Ezekiel 2:4 “The descendants (Israel) also are obstinate and
stubborn”
Ezekiel 3:4 “the house of Israel will not be willing to
listen to you, for they are not willing to listen to me: because all the house of Israel have a hard forehead and a stubborn heart.”
These words encourage me, and when I hear them say all
those things, I’m encouraged because I know they are fulfilling prophecy. This
is the word of YAH. The verse then continues to say that I shouldn’t be afraid
of them or their words “nor be dismayed at their looks, for they are a
rebellious house,” Ezekiel 2:6.
I like what it says in Ezekiel 3:8 “Behold, I have made
your face as hard as their faces and your forehead as hard as their foreheads.”
YAHUAH has clothed me with power and it is in that power that I stand and preach. I know I'm not alone in this journey, which makes it all the more worth it.
Praise YAH…
