Did you know that in many countries it means something similar?

In parts of Sudan, it’s a donkey and monkey wedding, in the mean time wolves and jackals are tying the knot in Morroco. In Algeria, a lioness is giving birth, while in Eritrea a hyena is also in labour.
And lastly, a Zombie is beating his wife for salty food in Haiti.

Linguistics has termed the phenomenon a sun shower.

Sun showers occur when accompanying winds associated with a rain storm blowing raindrops into an area where there are no clouds. Sometimes it’s created when a single rain cloud passes overhead, and the sun’s angle keeps the sunlight from being obstructed by overhead clouds.

Whatever you may call it or it may mean to you, rain when its sunny is a marvel. Funny thing is though, the rainy season usually happens in summer, so why is it odd when it rains with a background of perfect sunshine?
